Training HIIT/Tabata. My true 90 minuet escape. I also spend time with my family. I am also married for 25 years to my love of my life Cindy & have two kids boy/girl; 32 and 22 - Taylor/Volleyball

WHY DO YOU LOVE VOLLEYBALL?

Volleyball is the sport that built a solid foundation between me and my daughter Taylor. It was our thing we loved to do together. Peppering, working on her defense and passing with Tay in the front of the house till it got dark was so rewarding. Coaching, mentoring/managing and watching a 5 foot thirsty Libero compete at a high level and become a 1%er was such a buzz. Being humble and humbled and going through so much adversity I would reinforce and counsel Tay not to believe the “your too small” critics in volleyball. Having 5 Div I athletic offers her Junior year showed that having heart, working your tail off in training, a strong work ethic, being dynamic and an impact player that anything is possible. She played like she was 6’4” that was her mindset and that was fun to watch. She is my hero!

Volleyball... it’s was our thing!
